MBF Celebrates IOLTA Grant Recipients at 2025 Grantee Receptions [Photos]
Over the past few weeks, the Massachusetts Bar Foundation proudly celebrated its 2025 Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA) grantees and presented leaders who exemplify its mission to expand access to justice with the President’s Award.
This year, the MBF awarded a record-breaking $6.7 million in IOLTA Grants to 93 organizations across the Commonwealth. These organizations provide critical legal services to thousands of Massachusetts residents on issues including housing, immigration, healthcare, special education access, and more.
At the Boston Reception, Anna Krieger, Esq., Executive Director of Massachusetts Advocates for Children, presented a view from the field as a Grantee Speaker. The MBF was also proud to present Harvey Weiner, Esq., with a 2025 President’s Award in recognition of his decades of advocacy for veterans and his steadfast commitment to pro bono service.
At the Western Massachusetts Reception, attendees heard inspiring remarks from Grantee Speakers Martha Cutt, MSW, Coordinator of Roca Inc.’s Emerging Adult Court of Hope (EACH), and Sedale Collymore, a graduate of the EACH program. Hampden District Court First Justice, Hon. Kevin Maltby, who presides over EACH, also offered his reflections on the program. The MBF was honored to present the second 2025 President’s Award to Hon. David G. Sacks for his career-long dedication to fairness and equity in the justice system and his valued service as an MBF grant review volunteer.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the impactful work of our 2025/2026 grantees! .
