2026 Grantee Receptions

Celebrate with the MBF in Boston and Worcester!

Join us to celebrate the incredible work of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation’s grantees! Our grantee receptions are free and open to all, offering opportunities to connect, hear grantee perspectives, and honor members of the MBF community.

These events bring the community together to recognize the people and programs driving access to justice across the state. In June, the MBF awarded $7.6 million in Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA) Grants to 93 organizations providing legal support to underserved individuals and families.

This year, we are proud to honor two members of our philanthropic community with the MBF President’s Award, which recognizes leaders whose hard work and dedication exemplify the Foundation’s mission to increase access to justice.

Our 2026 honorees are Ed Moriarty, Jr., Esq. of Moriarty & Associates in Peabody, who will be recognized at the Eastern Massachusetts Reception, and Francis Ford, Esq. of Ford Mediation in Worcester, who will be recognized at the Central Massachusetts Reception.

We are also excited to hear remarks from this year’s Grantee Speakers. Abeer Massri, Esq., Legal Program Director at the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence, will speak at the Eastern Mass. Reception, and Anna Rice, Esq., Director of the Bar None Legal Program at Dismas House will speak at the Central Mass. Reception.
