Celebrate with the MBF in Springfield and Boston!

Join us to celebrate the incredible work of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation’s grantees! Our grantee receptions are free and open to all, offering opportunities to connect, hear grantee perspectives, and honor members of the MBF community.

These events bring the community together to recognize the people and programs driving access to justice across the state. In June, the MBF awarded $6.7 million in Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA) Grants to 93 organizations providing legal support to underserved individuals and families.

This year, we are proud to honor two members of our philanthropic community with the MBF President’s Award, which recognizes leaders whose hard work and dedication exemplify the Foundation’s mission to increase access to justice.

The 2025 honorees are Hon. David G. Sacks, Continuing Access to Justice Fellow with Senior Partners for Justice, who will be recognized at the Western Massachusetts Reception, and Harvey Weiner, Esq. of Peabody & Arnold LLP, who will be recognized at the Eastern Massachusetts Reception.

We are also excited to hear remarks from this year’s Grantee Speakers. Anna Krieger, Esq., Executive Director of Massachusetts Advocates for Children, will speak at the Eastern Mass. Reception. At the Western Mass. Reception, we’ll hear from Martha Cutt, MSW, coordinator of Roca Inc.’s Emerging Adult Court of Hope (EACH), along with EACH program graduate Sedale Collymore.
