Elizabeth M. Lynch
As Executive Director, Beth Lynch oversees the MBF's operations, grantmaking, and strategic development activities.
Beth first joined the MBF staff in 2000, serving first as Grants Administrator and then as Grants Manager until 2004. Prior coming to the MBF, Beth worked as a Program Associate at the Eurasia Foundation, where she made grants to promote economic and democratic reform in the former Soviet Union. She also served as a Herbert Scoville, Jr. Peace Fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council in Washington, D.C., where she researched civilian nuclear spent fuel reprocessing in Eastern Europe.
Beth is a member and past president of the National Conference of Bar Foundations.
She earned a bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley and a master's degree from Columbia University in New York, N.Y.
Jacqueline Iris Gomez
As Program Assistant, Jacqueline Gomez provides critical support to all of the MBF’s grant making and development activities.
Prior to coming to the MBF, Jacqueline worked as a Data Analyst at the TripAdvisor Global Headquarters in Needham and a Graphic Designer for PepperGang Digital Marketing. Before her move to Boston in 2016, Jacqueline also completed a graphic design internship at the Peace Corps Headquarters in Washington, D.C.. During her time in college, Jacqueline served as the Vice President of her school's chapter of the Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha, during her Junior and Senior year. Before then, she was elected Communications Director for the Florida College Democrats while contributing regularly to her school's daily newspaper.
She earned bachelor's degrees in Mass Communications and Political Science from the University of South Florida in 2016.
